We’re back with some exciting updates from the second Digital Hoop newsletter, and there’s a lot to share! Our team’s been busy making big moves — this time in Bucharest, Romania — and we’re super excited to let you in on what’s been going on.
What happened in Bucharest?
In October 2024, we had two awesome back-to-back events:
Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) – October 21
This was a big one! All our project partners got together in Bucharest to talk about how things are going with the project, check in on what’s been done, and plan what’s coming next. Even though the project director, Dr. Marianna Giammarino, joined us remotely, her presence was strongly felt! We also had inspiring input from Dr. Aldo Cammara and our amazing trainer Giovanni Zalloni.
We even made some important decisions like adjusting the project budget so more people can join future events — win!
Training Course for Trainers – October 22–24
Right after the TPM, we rolled into a 3-day training led by Diana Vestineanu from CPDIS — and wow, she nailed it! The goal? To prepare our partner reps so they can lead local youth training sessions, especially for young people who don’t usually get these kinds of opportunities.
We covered a lot, learned a ton, and had a blast doing it.
Not just learning — connecting!
What made this week extra special was the mix of learning and fun. It wasn’t all presentations and notes — there were plenty of laughs, stories, and shared meals. Because at Digital Hoop, we believe non-formal education is also about building friendships and unforgettable memories.
