Opening minds through ART – YE

We are happy to share our Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Opening Minds through ART”, taking place in Moraira (Spain) from 12 to 20 April 2026. This international activity brings together 28 young participants aged 13 to 17, accompanied by 9 group leaders, creating a vibrant and diverse learning environment.

During the exchange, participants from Spain, Poland, Hungary, Latvia and Italy explore how art can be a powerful tool for expression, inclusion and intercultural dialogue. Through a programme based on non-formal education, young people take part in creative workshops such as painting, sand-art, collective art and cultural activities led by each national group. The experience also includes outdoor activities like a photo safari, as well as team-building sessions and intercultural nights, helping to strengthen connections and mutual understanding.

A key element of the project is the daily reflection process, where participants share their learning, feelings and experiences. This supports the development of important competences such as creativity, communication, teamwork and cultural awareness. The project also encourages visibility and dissemination actions, allowing young people to share their journey with their communities.

At the end of the exchange, all participants receive a Youthpass certificate, recognising their learning outcomes and personal development. This Youth Exchange is a meaningful opportunity for young people to open their minds through art, build friendships across borders and grow both personally and socially.
