From 15–21 August 2026, Latvia hosted the Erasmus+ Youth Workers Mobility “Exit Burnout & Recharge.” Youth workers, mentors, educators, and facilitators from Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, and Cyprus gathered to discuss, learn, and practice topics related to burnout.

The aim of the project was to strengthen the mental health, well‑being, and professional resilience of youth workers by deepening their understanding of burnout, developing practical self‑care and stress‑management skills, and equipping them with innovative methods such as adventure therapy, coaching, and gamification — to enhance their daily practice and improve the overall quality of youth work.
The content of the activity was based on the results and methodology of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Exit Burnout,” whose main objectives were to develop innovative solutions using gamification, coaching, and adventure therapy methods in order to prevent and reduce youth worker burnout, decrease employee turnover in youth work, and increase overall well‑being.
The project was hosted by the Baltic Regional Fund from Latvia. Project «Exit Burnout & Recharge» No. 2026-1-LV02-KA151-YOU-000396630 is funded by the European Union.
