On 22 October 2026, we successfully organised our first Virtual Youth Exchange within the Erasmus+ project Digital Ruralship, bringing together 12 young participants from six European countries: Spain, Hungary, Latvia, Italy, Finland and Poland.
With two participants representing each country, this international online activity offered a great opportunity to explore and test the innovative virtual tools and educational activities developed by our project partners.
Using our virtual participation space on FrameVR, participants experienced interactive activities, explored the possibilities of Virtual Reality (VR) in non-formal education and shared their first impressions and feedback.
This first exchange was an important step in our project’s development. It allowed us to test the tools in a real international learning environment, identify possible improvements and prepare for the next phases of the project, including further testing, new activities and international collaboration.
Through Digital Ruralship, we aim to empower young people from rural areas, overcome geographical barriers and create innovative digital spaces where young people can connect, learn and actively participate in their communities.
